Night Love Haiku

Loyal light so bright

True comfort serves cheer at night

My lit soul's loved right

Love expands soundly

Superbly like the true days

Flower of delight

The awe of the wait

The wonderment of the chase

The love's in the catch

Gracefulness of days

Bloom glorifies the season

Love's in all display

Love of Sonnet

For the first time - a sonnet I pursue

A poet's saved - from free verse I oft make

A fit haiku - I, at teem times ifuse

Curious soul - for a sonnet's intake

I like its form, and I hope love reforms

A sonnet's kind, and its essence's so true

Welcome I am - at a feast where life forms

Delightful thoughts - fill each line with renew

I know now that - a sonnet's alluring

I'm not ashamed, as song by song I dwell

Lo graceful light - with joyful sites pouring

Worthy honour, as sonnet's charms excel

Where would I be - in sonnet's lasting lost

More free I am - for love of sonnet's found
