An angel in distress

Today I saw an angel in distress
…adorned in her heavenly best
She was so beautiful
…that I held her to my chest



She was so sweet
…that I kissed her feet
She was so neat
…that I felt complete



In her distress…
I was my best
I wondered if she was at her nest-
…that I would have still been blessed?



Then she told me she was fine
…because of the warmth of mine
I was so impressed
…that I made her my guest



And my world was reset
…for the angel became my best friend yet
